RESCUE-GS UK&I
This survey is a national collaborative initiative exploring the current uptake, practice, and future scalability of robotic surgery in emergency general surgery across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Supported by the Portsmouth Colorectal Team and Professor Jim Khan, the project aims to provide the first multicentre snapshot of real-world robotic emergency surgical practice, including barriers to implementation, training needs, and institutional variability. The survey is open to both consultant and trainee general surgeons, regardless of robotic experience. Findings from this study will help inform future research, collaboration, training pathways, and service development within emergency general surgery.
